Recently, there was an article in the GoSkagit website related to a water line that was being installed for one of the local cities. The headline caught my eye and I skimmed the article. After finishing, I moved on.
A couple of days later, while checking some news articles in the Flipboard app while drinking my morning espresso, I saw a headline that caught my eye: Pipeline installed at water plant in Washington state.
The most interesting part of this, to me, was that it was from the Miami Herald. Yes, the opposite corner of the country.
I took a look at the article wondering if there was some local Miami connection; local company made the pipe or local company doing the installation.
Somehow – whether by intentional choice or by algorithm – the article from our local paper was picked up to be included in the Miami Herald feed.
